Hi, I'm Kelley, and my path into insurance wasn't accidental. It grew out of a genuine interest in people. With a psychology degree from San Diego State University, I've always been drawn to understanding what matters most to individuals and families, and helping them protect it.

I entered the industry in 2007 with the largest personal lines carrier in the country, starting as a team member for a local agent in San Diego. There, I focused on financial services sales — life insurance and investment planning — and discovered that this work was deeply meaningful. Helping people plan for the unexpected and build toward the future felt like a natural extension of everything I'd studied.

Joined a local agency team in San Diego with a major national carrier, focusing on life insurance and investment planning.

Relocated to Northern California

Kelley moved with her husband and newborn son, opened a captive agency, then transitioned to a corporate auto claims role to deepen her expertise across the industry.

Opened her own captive agency

After gaining hands-on experience in claims and operations, Kelley launched her own captive agency with the same major carrier — a role she held for a decade.

Founded Anchor Stone Insurance Services

After 10 years as a captive agent, Kelley took the leap to go fully independent — giving clients access to more carriers, more options, and truly unbiased guidance.

Today, Anchor Stone Insurance Services is built on everything Kelley has learned across nearly two decades — from financial services and claims, to agency operations and client advocacy. Going independent means she's no longer tied to one carrier's products. Her loyalty is to you.
